    Handy for Waterloo and Eurostar

    Prices of small bottles of water advertised on a notice were not in accord with what we were asked to pay.

    Very clean, welcoming, everything worked. Reception staff were helpful & efficient. Easy access to central London.

    Air conditioning was largely ineffective. Different tariffs ( rooms ) were confusing.

    Very good value,convenient to underground and main line rial in Waterloo,

    1 lift for a 6 storey buiding was slow at peak times. Do not like the soap and shampoo containers

    Cleanliness was excellent. Bathroom and shower very good. Bed and pillows were very comfortable

    Air conditioning was inadequate. Had to have windows open as much as possible, and that was a problem in a front room because of the noise. Duvets too thick for warm weather. The alternative of a sheet would be helpful. Limited TV choice - no Freeview.

    The accomodation was central, value for money, clean and perfect for our overnight stay in London.

    The rooms were very warm which isn't a really bad thing especially on a very cold night but it was quite mild when we were there.

    There was a great big pillar preventing access to one side of the double bed - so it was necessary to always walk around the far side of the bed.

    Clean, standard hotel room. Helpful staff. Pleasant breakfast (continental). We forgot toothpaste and that was supplied by reception which was good.

    The temperature of the shower fluctuated a bit.

    "We would stay here again. Excellent one night stop over with easy check in and room was very clean. Great value for money and a decent shower - sometimes lacking in hotels of all standards.     Good value, very clean and easy. Bathroom facilities excellent (great shower!) Check in was quick and easy, no problems at all.

    Room was very small, but it was London and it was extremely good value and just one night. We wouldn't have fancied a week in tht size room with a 10 and 12 year old!

    Very close to the Victoria Station for train to Paris as well as a nice walking distance from other major attractions. The staff are phenomenal - all of them - cannot say enough about 'going above and beyond' even when it was not necessary. Additionally, our train left at 5:30 am so we would have missed breakfast by checking out at 4am. The staff got us some cereal, milk and yoghurt to make sure that we had breakfast - and these are young people who demonstrated a very high level of customer service.

    The air conditioning broke on our second night - although the staff responded immediately and offered us either the use of a fan and/or changing rooms. We took the fan but then had to change rooms anyway.

    "Very small room: yes rooms in london will be small but this was the smallest I've ever seen, think the bathroom was as big as the room. highish prices compared to others in the area: very similar cost to other nicer hotels in the area, no real benefit of staying in this hotel over another unless your collecting the priority points. lack of room service: Pretty much like all holiday inn expresses I believe... nearest restaurant? Ask the staff, they don't know either... takes a 20 minute walk to find anything half decent. Actually dined in another hotel most of the week. poor breakfast: toast, juice and some sort of things that may pass as criosants... went down once, never again. poor/lack of air conditioning: It was only 25 degrees outside so wasn't too warm in my 6ft x 6ft bedroom... at least the window opened a whole 3mm to let some diesel fumes/dust in from the main road and building works outside. extortionate internet access prices: " (3304795527)

    "the hotel is in a good position near to the southbank and the tube station. the room was a good size with nice furnishings. however, there is a major design fault in the rooms with there being only 1 plug socket located on the desk which no plugs-other than the kettle would fit into as it was too close to the desktop! it was nowhere near a mirror either. clearly the rooms were designed by fellas! the receptionist was great though and sorted me an extension lead which solved the problem. no room service which was a pain."     "The Hotel was very nice and in a central spot in London within easy reach of the London Eye which we walked to.     The accommodation was very easy to find and within walking distance from Waterloo. Very basic rooms however you had tea and coffee facilitys and plenty of area in the room for the one night and comfy bed.

    Clean, attractive colours, comfortable beds, windows that opened to give fresh air, air conditioning good too. All facilities we needed, tho personally I like tablet, rather than liquid soap.
